IBM System Storage TS3310 Tape Library

IBM& System Storage TS3310 Tape Library		 For businesses challenged with rapidly growing data backup needs and limited physical space for a tape library, the IBM System Storage™ TS3310 offers simple, rapid expansion as processing needs grow. This tape library allows you to start small with only a single 5 EIA rack unit high library. Over time, as your need for tape backup expands, you can add additional 9U expansion modules, each of which contains space for additional cartridges, tape drives and a redundant power supply. The entire system grows vertically. Currently, available configurations include the 5U base library module and a 5U base with one 9U expansion module. Future configurations will allow the interconnection of several 9U modules, allowing a TS3310 tape library to hold over 400 LTO tape cartridges.

The TS3400 tape library is an external 5U standalone or rack-mountable unit that can incorporate up to two TS1120 tape drives. The library supports a data rate transfer of up to 104 MBps per drive.
